Miro Tutorial: How to Add a Channel
Miro acts just like a DVR or TiVo device in that it can retrieve, store, and organize the latest episodes of your favorite television or web-based shows. In this picture tutorial, I walk you through step-by-step exactly how it’s done.
Let me walk you through how to add a South Park channel. The channel we create in this tutorial will automatically download episodes of South Park whenever new ones are released. It will also create a list of previous episodes that you can download with a single click.

- Navigate to South Park
- Right-click “Search-based RSS Feed”

- Click “Copy Link Location” in Firefox to copy the location of the link. In this case it is:
http://tvrss.net/search/index.php?show_name=South+Park&show_name_exact=true&mode=rss
- Launch Miro. At the top menu, click “Channels” -> “Add Channel”

- Paste in the link you copied from tvRSS.net and press Enter
That’s all folks! In the right menu of Miro, you will notice a new channel. In this case, it will be named something like “tvRSS - search based” so you’ll want to right-click the channel and rename it.
You’ll also want to click the “Settings” button to set up your channel how you’d like it

Last, if you want to download previous episodes in the channel, click blue box with the downwards arrow to download right away.
